So who here on cadet stuff have been to Pershing Rifle drill meets or is a Pershing Rifleman?

You probably won't find many, but I would join. I looked it up after you told me earlier, and I it looks very interesting. Only problem is that I am not in college yet.

Well it depends, back in 06, before I joined, my squadron competed at a drill meet hosted by a Pershing Rifle company. They got 2nd place. But there are others that I bet some units been to, and a few members here and there that either been there, or interacted with a Pershing Rifleman, or is one themself.

I was a Pershing Rifleman....Pledge Year....1985!

Oh I don't remember. I was at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. I pledged the spring of 85 and won rifleman of the year by the end of the year.

I was on the Ranger Team.

Closest I ever came was serving as a judge at the annual drill comp up at CU Boulder back when I was in the Honor Guard at Lowry AFB. The Pershing Rifles guys sure threw a huge party afterwards each year, but that's a subject for a whole 'nother thread.
